SYNOPSIS
The well-oiled demon fighting machine, Angel (David
Boreanaz) along with Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter)
and Wesley (Alexis Denisof) are back in full force
in season 2 as Angel Investigations are joined by
a new street-wise vampire hunter, Charles Gunn.
The first half of the second season sees Angel revisited
by his dark past as he agonises over what hope he
has for the future. In a series of terrifying flashbacks
he is forced to question his identity and place
in modern American society. He becomes completely
engrossed with fighting his inner demons whilst
unaware that this restless sleep is a result of
nocturnal visits from Darla. Meanwhile Angel Investigations
become increasingly concerned that the tormented
Angel may revert to his sinister and evil ways.
