SYNOPSIS
The X-Files first season - a partnership that will
test, and ultimately stretch, the boundaries of
trust, faith and belief. Two agents from vastly
different backgrounds join forces to solve cases
the FBI has labeled X-Files. Both are determined
to uncover hidden truths - one searching for otherworldly
answers, the other for more earthbound scientific
explanations. Together they will make discoveries
neither could have ever imagined.
These are the episodes that created a loyal word-of-mouth
spread among fans, particularly a community of
on-line fans who christened themselves X-Philes
and who lit up the internet to discuss each new
episode. By mid-season even the critics began to
take notice, and the shows first season ended with
a flourish. When the series achieved it's then
highest rating with its second-season premiere,
the X-Files was on its way to becoming an award-winning,
worldwide phenomenon.
